Lorys Lakeside: Your Premier American Dining Experience by the Lake

What an amazing staff. A great place who knows how to manage effectively when 40+ ppl show up at the same time for a Superbowl party. They gave us free food n apps too. We had a blast. Photos say it all.

Emma is an absolute jem and a huge asset to this restaurant. She was more than accommodating to our party of 10 which was a family reunion and even took pictures for us. Thank you Emma and Trish an amazing bartender for making our family reunion an amazing experience.

I always drive past Lorys and wanted to try it for years so i finally made it for dinner the other day. It's right next to the lake and has a gorgeous view although you can't see the view from the inside or outside dining area. There are picnic tables near the lake but they don't get table service. There was a baby shower the day I went, so they do events next to the bar. Our waitress/bartender, Gracie, was so friendly and super on top of things, especially for being so crazy busy. She said they do karaoke on Fridays, they have bands Saturdays, and they other events with the pool tables/cornhole. They post to Facebook for their events. I had the chicken & shrimp jambalaya and it was delicious. It was a lot of food too. The food and drinks were very decently priced. I'm not used to $7 glasses of wine anymore. I'll definitely be back

Typical American sports bar.....pool table, bar, great seating options, great food and love the karaoke sessions. Group of 3 friends we were . Had a pitcher of Sam A and few good appetizers. Played a couple pool games...with some lovely jukebox songs. The owner is a great guy to hang out with. Always around and making sure the patrons are having a great time and getting the attention needed. Great hang out place. Courteous and friendly staff

A couple of us went to Lorys Lakeside for dinner. Everything was fine. They have a beautiful view of the Lake outside. They have two Pool Tables there and quite a few people come in there to play Pool. I'm sure we will be going back there again. 12/10/2025 We were there again. The Pool Tables were going strong and as we were leaving they were setting up for Bingo. Something new, otherwise all was the same. Trish and Emma took good care of us.

Overall, a hidden gem of a place to catchup with friends for a drink or two while enjoying Pool, Karaoke (Friday Night) or Live Band (Saturday night). The pub sits conveniently by Lory Lakeside at border of East and North Brunswick townships. The place is moderately crowded on a Saturday night with usually local bands that play 80s or 90s rock/pop music. Friday nights are somewhat less crowded and feature Karaoke by DJ Mike. The place features a pool table that usually has a queue of 5-6 regular patrons and occasional wanderers and also a Jukebox to play your favorites once the bands windup for the night. On regular Fridays/Saturdays, the place is usually occupied with a regular clientele/patrons who are in their 40s-60s. Young crowds are somewhat less frequent but do show up for occasional celebrations/parties. The outside of the pub has a pretty picturesque lakeside setting and seems decked for hosting weddings and similar functions. There is ample parking space, extended open wooden deck and a Tiki bar as well. Drinks are reasonably priced, servers quite well-experienced and service is often with a smile. Definitely recommended if you are in the area.

Fun place, next to a lake. Pool table and many tvs playing different channels. Kinda old place. Try going for a happy hour. We tried Mother’s Day brunch. Service was good
